TraphouseATX is a black and brown-owned gem in the heart of Austin! Our roots run deep, with Chef Dante bringing the vibrant flavors of his Jamaican family recipes to life and Alvin showcasing the rich traditions of Guatemalan hospitality and cuisine. We're proud to serve up the best Caribbean dishes, from spicy, mouthwatering jerk chicken to tacos so flavorful they make you want to dance. And we can't forget about our famous oxtails, so tender they fall off the bone like they’ve got somewhere better to be!

We created this restaurant as a place people of color can call their own, but we welcome anyone and everyone to come eat, chill, and just VIBE. At TraphouseATX, we also embrace our LGBTQ+ foundation, creating a welcoming space for all. Our delicious, seasoned food offers a taste of the Caribbean in every bite, and we're committed to providing a place where anyone can gather, relax, and enjoy hot, flavorful dishes.
